the idea. I'm obviously not the first to think of using exhaust vacuum, but my design is slightly different by integrating a reed valve.. But I'm sure someone else has thought of it before. : I dont forget many things and apparently seem to be able to put a bunch of small bits of information together to see a bigger picture. Example, the exhaust system.. I remember when I was pondering getting aftermarket exhaust and I was trying to justify the huge price. Well, I dove into figuring out how exhaust systems worked. Started by researching - lots of good information out there. The AIV system is part of the exhaust so naturally I learned how that works as well. The PCV system I learned about at my first auto-x race when it began smoking horrificly. I've kicked the idea of a catch can around, wasn't impressed with the idea of having to empty it - you can't eliminate the PCV, so one day it hit me. Use the AIV for the scavenger. The rest was just nuts and bolts. That's at least how I came up with this one idea. : : : Do you have an engineering background? How do you know all of this stuff? I know you work on computer networks, etc. but man... I'm impressed.
